The Bible says of a young king named Uzziah, who came to the throne at the age of sixteen. “And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper” (2 Chronicles 26:5). Uzziah’s love for God was unconditional. The Bible says because he continued to seek God, God prospered him. God helped him against the Philistines that rose up against him. His fame spread abroad all the nations of the earth as a result of God’s help. God told Joshua in Joshua 1:8 not to let the Word of the Lord depart from his mouth; but to meditate day and night, and in so doing, he will prosper and have success. Seeking God continually means setting our mind and heart on God. God Himself is our greatest reward and when we have Him, we have everything. When we are faced with challenges, we should be prepared to confront them by putting our trust in God and knowing that God will help us. God wants to bless us with the desires of our hearts, but He demands our trust in Him first at all times. God loves us so much and wants us to be successful in life, therefore seek Him steadfastly and you will be amazed at what He will do in your life.
