God's Faithful Provision

We are living in a life where people are struggling due to many factors. Sometimes we wonder how our bills are going to be paid and where our other source of earing is going to come from. Jesus understands how destructively worrying can be to our lives and therefore does not want us to worry about our needs (Mathew 6:25-31). We are of great value unto God. The story in 1 Kings 17 verses 3-6, gives a picture of God’s provision in the life of Elijah. God tells Elijah to hide by the brook of Cherith, where God will supply him with the sustenance he needs to survive. God commanded a raven to deliver Elijah bread and meat two times a day; in addition He gave him a brook (stream) to drink from. God wants us to surrender all of our needs unto Him and see Him do wonderful works for us. God is a God of faithfulness. Everything He says He does. He is creative when it comes to providing for His people. He cares about us and wants to meet all of our needs. Why not present all your needs unto Him and watch Him do mighty works in your life.
