Peace
Peace is an inner calm that we have from fears and frustrations of life. It is living in harmony without arguing or agitation. It is a sense of well-being in the midst of trails and troubles. Quite often, trouble comes our way to aggravate and upset us, and in the midst of that we need to remain calm. One of the things Isaac did when he grew up was to open the wells that his father Abraham had, which was stopped by their enemies. In every attempt Isaac tried to uncover the wells, his enemies quarrelled with him; but Isaac walked away from them peacefully. He finally dug another well which for that, they did not quarrel with him (Genesis 26:18-22). Isaac walked away from the quarrel of his enemies which gave him victory over them. Romans 12:18 encourages us to live at peace with everyone. When you learn to live at peace, you walk through troubles with confidence. Some people are impossible to get along with, but you can do your part by being a maker and a maintainer of peace everyday of your life. Ask God to guard your mind and heart with His peace so that you can enjoy life in your home, marriage, children, friends, family, work place, and everywhere. Experience God’s peace in the midst of trials and troubles and do everything in your will to remain peaceful. Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace.
