Trusting in the Lord
God wants us to put our trust in Him to take care of us in every area of our lives. He wants us to have confidence in Him and to know that He is the Almighty God. Daniel was a hardworking and an honest man who had his trust in God. King Darius loved Daniel and preferred him to be a government administrator over the other government officials. This made the officials to be jealous of Daniel. They knew about Daniels faith in God; and therefore asked King Darius to make a decree that during a 30-day period anyone found praying to any other God beside the king would be thrown into the lion’s den. On hearing the decree, Daniel went home, opened his windows and prayed to God. When his enemies saw him praying, they told the king. Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den but because his trust was in God; God delivered him from the den alive. The threat of death did not change Daniel’s trust he had in God. His enemies were thrown into the den for falsely accusing Daniel (Daniel 6). If you are struggling in any area of your life in which you can’t have peace and enjoy life in fullness, why not surrender them all unto God, and trust Him to take care of you. God loves you so much and wants to see you enjoying life in full abundance. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path” (Proverbs 3:5-6). God bless you.
